I thought this was going to be a great restaurant but was disappointed. When the waitress recommended anything but the French dishes that should have been a hint to leave. Overpriced and underwhelmed:(

Having the luxury of dining in Brooklyn, I expected little of Key West. Bistro Sole stands toe to toe with the Park Slope restos. Duck fat fries and fresh fish/mango/avocado salad. Doesn't get any better!

Love this place. Delicious bistro fare, fancy enough to feel like a splurge but without the sticker shock. Love love love the butter poached escargot and the duck rillette, and the prime rib is a solid good deal. John, the owner, is friendly and present, and he has some great and loyal staff that take the whole experience up a notch with their can-do, here-to-please attitude. Perfect for a date night or just for dining alone. They also have a couple large tables for a relaxed and lovely group experience. As a local and a foodie, I can't wait til they open back up for the season.

Bistro Sole' just catered our wedding this past weekend. Words cannot express how happy we were with choosing Bistro Sole' as our caterer!! The food was quoted as being "the best wedding meal I have ever eaten!" The presentation was beautiful and well done. Since our meal was buffet style, they could have just set out some pans in a clean manner. They added flowers and had everything arranged in a classic, lovely style. The staff went above and beyond to create a custom menu for our wedding. Chef Jon even created special appetizers to accommodate the bride. We interviewed several caterers and Bistro Sole' was the only one to provide us with tastings and a suggested menu. We can't say enough great things about them. Thank you for making our wedding meal so perfect. Special thanks to Donna and Chef Jon!!

Nice outdoor dining area. Food was well prepared. Our family ordered different dishes including fish and chips, shrimp and grits as well as a yellow fin snapper special and all were very good.

Wonderful outdoor seating. Owners have really spruced up the place. First time for lunch. All of us ordering the chicken liver pate very disappointed. Texture stringy & very wet. French onion soup fair only. ABLT very good. Staff friendly. Service good. Will try again.

Fraud Alert! Happy Hour is a scam! Seriously, I was just shocked to see our bill. Very tricky! We were there for drinks and appetizers advertised half price. The prices weren't on the menu for the half off items, but I made an estimate of what the highest price they could ever ask and subtracted half. I was very wrong. $20 for a glass of wine! $16 for a domestic draft beer. (Server "couldn't remember" the price when I ordered) I didn't dispute the charges. Instead I just said, "you got me" and I felt cheated walking out of there. Btw, no local or military discounts from these people. The food was great but I won't review it because of what happened.

A very interesting small restaurant tucked behind a rather nondescript wall in old town. We stopped in for dinner twice and were impressed with the food both times. Obviously knowledgeable kitchen staff and surprisingly varied wine list. The menu is uncomplicated as a bistro chart should be, and I loved both the beef and fish selections. My only complaint was the service on our second night. Although it was a Monday, the place was slammed and, very apparently, short staffed. We waited a half hour to order without an explanation or even a passing apology. We will return.

Good ambiance outside, inside it's nice but a little strange. The huge chandelier in the center table is on the borderline of gaudy. But the cool chalkboard daily special is neat. The service was good. They nicely changed our order to accommodate our needs and the food was delicious! Plus the chef came out to talk to the customers which was a nice addition

We ate there about 2 months ago with our 3 children. From the street, it doesn't look like much, but step inside and there is a hidden oasis. There was live music and a fun outdoor atmosphere. The staff was very friendly to us and our kids. They even had a little putt-putt set that the kids could play with while we waited for our meal. My children loved bacon, Chicarrones, and the fish and chips. My husband and I enjoyed the foie gras. The Onion Soup Gratinee (French Onion soup) was some of the best I've ever had. I loved the spices of the Shrimp n Grits (delicious) and my husband enjoyed his Ribeye with Peppercorn Sauce. The Key Lime Pie was some of the best in Key West. We will be back.

The food was eh..... not really worth the trip. I heard Cafe Sole' is a lot better and this is apparently the "sister restaurant". There are better places in Key West to eat.

ORDERED ORGANIC TEA .. It was more water than tea. Waste of money. Ordered a vegetarian lunch...it was a wrap with a small amount of cheese and few veggies. All wrap. Not much of anything else. Another waste of money. Won't be returning

Recent visit to Key West included dining at Bistro Sole. The food was delicious and the service was "spot on". Candace our waitress made excellent suggestions for dinner. Looking forward to going back there the next time I visit KW.

We came to Bistro Sole (there should be an accent over the e...Solei, not sole as in the bottom of your shoe) because we'd sampled their portobello mushroom soup and gaspacho at Taste of Key West, and my massage therapist recommended it. This end of White Street isn't the prettiest, but the patio is a lovely oasis. It needs a bit more shade, though. The patio was about half full when we got there with Chef Correa and one other person taking care of ordering, delivering and bussing. They should have had one more person working the floor. We waited about 8 minutes just to get a menu. Once we had ordered, they checked three times that they had the order right. If you have to check that often, write it down! We started with the gaspacho. The cup size is very small, but there's a lot of flavour in the cup. The gaspacho is smooth rather than chunky and it's got just enough vinegar to make it very refreshing. I had the avocado, papaya, and cucumber salad, which arrived before the soup plates were cleared. It's salad! It could have waited for my partner's BALT to be ready. Despite the delivery timing, the salad was delicious and the BALT was too. And, even though they checked the order three times, R got fries with his BALT rather than the salad he'd ordered. The fries were outstanding. So, multiple thumbs up for the food, but the service has to improve.
